HOME  /  CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIES  /  SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

We understand that not every young deaf person wants to outwardly identify themselves as being deaf, meaning a deaf club is not the right approach for supporting them.

However, we also acknowledge the benefit of having a safe and inclusive environment that allows young deaf people to meet and engage with other deaf young people; to explore and try activities they may have felt were unavailable to them, and to build confidence.

We host regular social activities and opportunities that are open to young deaf people and their siblings and friends, so advocating an inclusive approach.
