Tinnitus Support Group volunteer leader

The Tinnitus Support Group is a monthly group that meets at GDA in Barnwood to offer a friendly peer support network to those living with tinnitus, as well as holistic and technology-based strategies for coping with the condition.

We are now looking for a volunteer leader to take on the running of the group. The volunteer leaders roles will include:

​

• Liaising with group members to inform them of upcoming sessions

• Arranging speakers to attend the monthly sessions to share different coping mechanism techniques

• Managing member attendance fees

• Arranging refreshments for the month sessions

• Host the members and speaker at the monthly group sessions

​

The role will require approximately 5 hours each month and will be based at the GDA office in Barnwood. 

​

The Tinnitus Support Group takes place one Tuesday of every month, 2pm to 4pm.

GDA is always looking for fully qualified British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters to assist Deaf people with their appointments.
