The support of a business can bring many benefits to both the organisation and the charity – it shows that your organisation cares about its local community; it opens up opportunities for colleagues to volunteer and for teams to bond, as well as providing a wider audience for both parties.
If you’d like to know more about how your organisation could support the work of GDA, please get in touch with our Fundraising Manager on firstname.lastname@example.org, call or text 07766 575109.
Charity of the Year
By making GDA your Charity of the Year, we will work with you to create a mutually beneficial partnership that offers opportunities for your colleagues to become engaged with their local deaf community. Benefits from working with GDA include:
team building opportunities
increased colleague moral and motivation
deaf awareness training, led by a person living with hearing loss
an opportunity to promote your deaf-friendly approach
the opportunity to reach a wider audience
promotion in our quarterly Hear for You newsletter and on our social media platforms
If your business is interested in making GDA your Charity of the Year, we’d love to hear from you. Why not get in touch with us on email@example.com for more information about how we can support you to support us.
Each year we host a number of events to fundraise for the services and support we provide to thousands of deaf, hard of hearing and deafened children, young people and adults.
The support of a business in covering the costs is invaluable in ensuring as much as of the profits from the event go directly to supporting the work of GDA.
As a thank you for sponsoring a GDA event we will acknowledge your support on our website and social media platforms, as well as in any event promotion.
If you would like to discuss sponsoring a GDA event, please get in touch with our Fundraising Manager, Sallie Gillespie on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Team building days
Team building days can be a great opportunity to bring a team together, away from the workplace, that encourages friendships, good working practices and a chance to learn new skills.
We can offer a number of team building days such as decorating, donating your skills and team challenge events.
Does your organisation offer matched funding? If one of your colleagues is fundraising for GDA, you might consider matching their fundraising efforts to further benefit GDA.
