New hearing-aid clinic in Cam

New free hearing-aid clinics for NHS hearing-aid wearers in Gloucestershire.
If you live in Gloucestershire and wear an NHS hearing-aid you could be benefitting from a free hearing-aid maintenance service thanks to a partnership between local charity, GDA and Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The charity already runs a number of free clinics across the county and is now delighted to be adding a new clinic in Cam.
The free clinic will take place at GL11 Community Hub, Fairmead, Cam, GL11 5JS on the first Tuesday of every month between 2pm and 3pm, starting on Tuesday 1st November. Anyone wishing to book an appointment can do so by calling the GDA office on 01452 372999 or email admin@gda.org.uk.
The clinics offer a chance to:
  • collect hearing-aid batteries
  • get your aid cleaned and re-tubed
  • get basic advice about hearing-aid care
  • learn about the different settings on your hearing-aid
  • receive impartial advice about listening aid equipment that could help you hear at home, such as amplified phones, TV listeners, doorbells and much more.
