Forest Green Rovers book raises £4,000

A book looking back at the phenomenal 2015/2016 season of local football club Forest Green Rovers, has exceeded all expectations.
When GDA Chair of Trustees, Chris Gardner, set out to write a book about his beloved Forest Green Rovers he never expected it to be such a hit.

To date, the book 'The Rise of Forest Green Rovers - The Road to Wembley', has raised £4,000 for GDA. The money raised will help fund the wide range of services and support GDA provides to thousands of people living in Gloucestershire who are born Deaf and are British Sign Language (BSL) users, and those who have become deaf through illness or age.
GDA's Chief Executive Officer, Jenny Hopkins said "We cannot thank Chris enough for such a tremendous outcome for GDA. Chris has taken supporting GDA to another level - not only has he raised £4,000 for GDA, he has also introduced our charity to thousands more potential service users and supports, which is invaluable".
The book is still available to order directly from GDA for £12.99. Simply contact the GDA office on 01452 372999 or email admin@gda.org.uk to reserve your copy.
