Deaf hustings feature on 'See Hear'

Back in April GDA held a pre-general election debate for our deaf and hard of hearing communities to put their questions to the Gloucester's General Election candidates.
Today our event has featured on the BBC See Hear programme alongside some of the bigger deaf organisations including BDA and Action on Hearing Loss, who also held similar events
All seven of Gloucester's party candidates attended the event to hear from local deaf people about their concerns on matters that matter to them as a person living with hearing loss. Questions raised include the closure of Beaufort School for Deaf children, difficulties in accessing medical appointments and access to work.
