|Mudtastic fun and marshmallows...
After a number of hugely successful pilot sessions last year, GDA's Forest School will be returning for another fun-filled session with activities including whittling, den building, bug hunting, cooking on an open fire and much more...
Bookings are now being taken for children and young people with a hearing loss, siblings and best friends are also welcome.
The group is limited to 12 places only, so hurry to book your child's place as we expect demand for this session to be high.
So, what is the Forest School... The Forest School is an exciting outdoor initiative which offers a fabulous opportunity for young people to explore the great outdoors and natural environment. What makes the GDA Forest School different, though, is all our activities are geared with total communication in mind. So whether you have a deaf child who worries about not hearing, or a hearing child who would love to learn some sign language as a fun extra, this is the place to go.
When: Thursday 20th April
Time: 10am to 2pm
Cost: £20 per child/young person. Subsidised places are also available, so please do ask if you feel your family might qualify for funding support.
What's included in the cost: transport to and from the venue, with pick-up points in Cirencester and at GDA, all materials, and of course covers the tailored programme of activities under trained and qualified staff.
